"The Stowe Mountain Lodge is absolutely lovely. It is surrounded by breath-taking views. The rooms are large and ours had a balcony, a small kitchenette, a fireplace and a deep soaking tub. The outdoor swimming pool is heated to 90 degrees. The workout room is top notch. There is some construction going on but it is easily avoided. The staff is incredibly friendly. My only complaint is the bar prices are a little high." great reviews - map

Driving to Stowe, Vermont? Check out it's location:Snowbird’s 2,500 skiable acres are accessed by 11 lifts. Famous for its gnarly steeps, Snowbird does have terrain for beginners and intermediates. Generally, tho, you have to ski "the Steeps" and it is not a beginner place! Huge mountain, looooooong runs. If you are at least an intermediate, you will be in heaven.
